Official blog of the team
Russian MTB team «FORWARD-Udmurtia» annually takes part in National and abroad competitions in cycling.
«FORWARD-Udmurtia» was established on the basis of the team «FORMAT-Udmurtia», which was formed as the first Russian professional mountain bike team in 2006 supported by the Cycling Federation of Udmurtia.
Team Leader is Vladimir Belokrylov, an honored coach of Udmurtia.
In 2007 our team took the 33rd place in the world rating (66 teams were registered in International Cycling Union (UCI) at that moment). In 2008 the team was the 39th out of 90 teams in the world rating. According to 2009 year results, the team became 38th.
In 2011 the team was re-registered in UCI, and therefore, our sportsmen will continue to compete on Forward’s bikes at the World Cup and World and European Mountain Bike Championships.
